The emergence of Plasbio is the proud result of more than 20 years of exploration of the polymers world.

For many years, chemists of Plasbio first worked in plastic production industries. While they were impressed by plastics tremendous evolution and sophistication, they became aware of the global and lasting pollution effect they generated, even in the remotest parts of the planet.

Soon they wondered if they could develop a formulation of biodegradable substances that could replace plastics, with equivalent qualities. After working hours, research provided us with an appropriate formulation for the given requirements.

Then I met Gaetan Nadeau from Canada, at first a critical but sustaining curious, who turned later as a deeply involved partner. We founded together Plasbio, based in Quebec, Canada, with research facilities in France.

Now Plasbio patented formulations of totally biodegradable polymers are available: they are unique, there is nothing like them on the market. We believed they would surprise customers: they do. With total flexibility, adapted to the clients needs, we are different of anyone in the competition. So far Plasbio has also patented more than 180 additives for all kinds of plastics-related industrial needs. And we keep researching.
